Aspen trees would be white trees with faint dark horizontal markings and golden yellow/green leaves, which would grow in their own Aspen Forest biome.
On average, these trees would be 6 to 9 blocks tall on the small side and would have an enormous variety that grows up to 12 blocks tall. Structure-wise, Aspens would grow similarly to Birch trees, straight upwards for logs, but their leaf arrangement would be a rough vertical rectangle starting halfway up the tree. Thus an Aspen forest biome would be made with player navigation in mind. The logs of this tree, with it's bark, would look similar to Birch, but their pattern would be more subtle and horizon, identical to the horizontal design of Mangrove and Jungle logs (to differ from the diagonal black markings on the birch log). Peeling away the bark would reveal a silvery grey log. Aspen leaves would be a brilliant golden yellow with hints of green.
Aspen boats, planks, stairs, and slabs would be a silvery white color, lighter than Birch but without gold tones, making them a stark contrast to darker blocks. We don't have a true "white"/"grey" wood so these planks would stand out and help add to the available color gradient.
