Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Emerald Ingots

These are essentially emeralds in ingot form similar to other resources. These are. craftable from 6 emerald gems in a crafting table. The purpose is an idea for making emerald armor and tools, making the task of making these items harder to make.

    I don’t think they will add emerald gear and weapons

    Ingots can only be made of metal materials, it is impossible with crystals. Also, Mojang (Jeb) specifically stated that they will not add emerald gear. They already have a use, which is currency. It's also too fragile, it'd likely be worse than gold and who actually wants that? This doesn't work in so many ways.

    There are mods for this, however, and that's the only way to get this.
