Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst Arrows

Because of the current lack of uses for amethyst shards, in my opinion, I think that it would be useful to add another crafting recipe for them, the amethyst arrow. Two amethyst arrows would be crafted using an amethyst shard, a stick, and a feather. It would function similarly to a regular arrow, except with possibly better trajectory, and would shatter upon impact with a mob or a block, causing smaller shards to scatter and inflict splash damage roughly within a 3x3 area. However, as a balancing measure, if the arrow came in contact with a block, it would shatter and not be able to be picked up again, possibly leaving behind only a stick to be picked up.

    If Amethyst was used as a weapon, it should inflict poison damage to witches. This references some African mythologies where poison is incredibly toxic to witches.
