Minecraft, for me, is all about adventure. Sometimes, however, the world feels quiet and unexciting. That is why I propose that Quests be added to Minecraft, giving players new and exciting adventures! Potential Quests: defeating bosses, discovering locations, brewing potions, hunting mobs, and more! Novice Quests will teach new players about the game, and Master Quests will satisfy endgame players too! Quests would refresh and randomize so players will have journeys to go on at all times! To implement this, I suggest adding a Quest Villager to give all Quests, or altering the trade tables of existing Villagers, so they all have Quests unique to their occupation. (Perhaps one Quest at each Trading Level.) A Villager’s “Quest” would work the same as a standard Emerald trade, but with a small tweak: Instead of paying the Villager in Emeralds, you would complete their “Quest” in exchange for loot and/or XP. Example “Quest Trade”: A Villager requests something like a Goat Horn or a Sculk Shrieker, implying you must go on a “Quest” to get the item. When you return, you trade the item to the Villager and receive loot and/or XP for completion. To stay exciting, “Quest trades” would shuffle/reroll each day. Quests could be as simple as finding a glow berry, or as complex as defeating the Wither. Either way, just trade the berries or Nether Star to the Quest Villager for rewards big and small!
