The Bat should have more uses in the 1.19 Wild Update.This mob should have more purpose than just giving cave vibes.
So here is my idea-
I feel that bats should have a 5-10% chance of dropping a bat wing when killed.
Witches also have a 3% chance of dropping a bat wing
Here are 3 uses for the bat wing-
●The bat wing can be combined with the echo shard to create the shard of darkness.When this is put in the brewing stand with 1-3 awkward potions, it brews into a potion of darkness.While this isn't useful on its own,It can be created into a splash potion of darkness,which will be very useful in PvP.But its main use will be to help the players receive the "How did we get here" advancement which is going to get harder.This potion can also be extended in time with Redstone and it can be corrupted to form a night vision potion.This potion can also be made into lingering potions and tipped arrows.
● The player should be able to combine the bat wing with the elytra using a smiting table to increase its gliding speed or to increase its height when gliding.
●Additional uses- •It can be put in a furnace to get black dye •It can be used in a composter to produce bone meal.
The Bat should also be able to attack silverfish as if they are arch enemies.
Bats should also spawn in witch huts.
And this is how MOJANG can make the bat and a custom drop -Bat wing useful in the game.
