So far, I'm really liking the mangrove swamp biome. But I feel having just a new wood-type introduced is not enough. These are my ideas on how to make this biome really immersive like the Wild Update intends to do. One thing that can really up the astheic for it is definitely more plant life. Who here hasn't asked for that? I feel there should be flowers unique to the Mangrove Swamp biome. Maybe even some new variations of lilypads? Or even new variations of grass or ferns? But I'd say the icing to the cake is cattails. I feel this would make the mangrove swamp unique and a place worth visiting. Another thing, more animals. If you're gonna make this place feel "wild" then you need more animals life. Dragonflies (frogs can eat these), herons, new fish, kingfishers (a type of bird that hunts fish), or even salamanders (which I picture would be modeled similar to axolotls except are more dark brown and don't have the gills on their heads) would definitely make it feel like a swamp. But one final thing that would really complete this biome is a new structure. Perhaps a new updated variation of a witch (or swamp) hut? Or even something as simple as a Stonehenge type structure would really complete the asthetic of the biome. Those are my thoughts on what could really spice up the Mangrove Swamp and make it probably one of the best biomes introduced in minecraft in a while (aside from the deep dark, the one I think the devs definitely nailed).
