instead of having only one ammo type for slingshots, there should be multiple
The purpose of this version of the slingshot would be to fire off junk that the player could easily make, without adding any new items.
I will list the ammo types I think fit, then describe them, but first, about how the slingshot works
it'd work like a super quick reload bow with little to now slowdown, with the tradeoffs of dealing very low damage, having no knockback, having low range, low accuracy and having the quirk of tightening.
This is the feature that would make slingshots unique, and it might give the fletching table a use. You go to a fletching table and in the menu, there's a slider for tightness. Tightening increases range, crit chance, velocity, load time, and decreases speed while loaded and loading, and accuracy.
