First, let me say that I'm not hating on Caves and Cliffs whatsoever. I just think the generate way too much for me personally. I've spent hours searching new seeds on 1.18.2 and have spent hours in creative flying around looking for the perfect spot to build a big open compound only to finally find a somewhat decent flatter area and what do you know... there's a massive crack in the ground that drops into nowhere.
I'm not crapping on the caves and cliffs, I just wish they spawned less. I also miss the days where you could climb a mountain and reach the peak and find a huge plain/meadow with all kinds of flat open space to build your own base on. I feel like I can never find that anymore. Like the caves and cliffs are everywhere now, there's water literally everywhere (rivers, ocean) and I feel like you can't walk 100 blocks without stumbling into a river or ocean anymore.
I just wish that caves, cliffs and massive oceans spawned less commonly. I want there to be huge land masses again. Like 1,000 x 1,000 area of just plains/meadows/forests.
Nowadays I can't find a good ole plains/meadows/forest area that's big enough. They're always tiny and surrounded by massive hills/cliffs and have massive ravines/caves cutting them in half and there's always massive oceans and rivers separating all the land masses literally everywhere! It's kind of depressing. I'd love to be able to just walk/run for hundreds of blocks and not run into ocean, cliffs, or caves/ravines. Please help me out
