The Wild Update

I think the flowers should have a similar mechanic to sea pickles and candles where you can plant them more densely. This just makes sense, so that people could make gardens with more densely packed flowers. It would allow for more variation in biome appearance without adding as many blocks, where flower forests and meadows could automatically generate the fullest flowers. 

Furthermore, the tall flowers could have small variants, similar to how the dripleaf has tall and small variants.

    • Lily pads - are already in Minecraft, but I would like to see them spawn with a chance to have a flower on top. White in temperate biomes and pink in warm biomes. Applying bonemeal to any lily pad will cause it to flower. 
    • Tumbleweeds - Found in desserts and badlands, this could be an atmospheric addition or an item similar to dead bushes, be crafted from sticks and dead bushes and mainly serve as a decoration block.
