My suggestion is to be able to hide (sonically) from the Warden by using natural sounds, such as water and lava, since those are typically "louder" than the player. Now, to prevent cheesing the Warden by simply placing down water or lava, I think that the player should only be able to use naturally spawned water or lava, or mobs even.
This mechanic reminds me of that scene in A Quiet Place when the monster (also hunts by sound) is in the flooded basement, and the mother stands behind a curtain of flowing water to avoid detection. It was a super intense moment in the movie, and I think that a similar mechanic implemented with the Warden could hopefully capture that same intensity and heart-pumping adrenaline rush while hiding in-game. (It would also be cool :D)
Overall, I think that this would be a great feature to add since it makes the Warden's hearing abilities more realistic, and maaaaaybe also because it makes escaping the Warden a little more plausible.
Thanks for reading!
p.s. I hope no one has already posted about this lol, but I searched a bunch and saw nothing so I just had to do it
