Only a shield with a banner should be able to defend the wardens attack

In the minecraft snapshot we were introduced to the warden's "sonic boom" ranged attack, but it doesn't make sense that it can pass through walls, but still can be blocked by a normal shield, so maybe it would be better if you could block it with a shiled that has a banner on it since a banner is made out of wool and wool blocks sounds and vibrations. I think it would make a lot more sence if it was like that!
