Copper spikers break through blocks to reel in an entity. First, the player holds down left click for a few seconds. Then, when left click is released, the spiker goes flying towards the targeted block. It looks like an amethyst cluster attached to a copper chain. It can fly 15 blocks, and is affected by gravity. It shatters whatever block it goes through, and grabs any entity it hits. Once the spiker goes as far as it can or it latches on to something, it returns to the original player. Any shattered blocks reappear with a swirling animation and a particle effect. Certain blocks have different effects when shattered. TNT explodes. Ice and glass burst in light. Magma blocks shoot lava projectiles. Some blocks can't even be shattered.
Copper spikers would be crafted with 3 amethyst shards at the top, a copper block in the center, two lightning rods on the sides, and a chain at the bottom. They could be used in many situations. If a player is drowning in a frozen lake, you can throw the spiker at the player, and rescue them. If you're climbing a steep mountain, you can pull someone up. Another useful feature that it has is its function as a grappling hook. If you right click a dispenser with a spiker, it will attach it. When activated, it will shoot out. If the spiker is instead placed in the dispenser, it will drop the same way unless there are other items inside. This would be useful for parkour. There could also be many more uses, but those are all I could think of.
