Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Waxed oak/wood

You should be able to wax the different oak blocks for them to have a more orangey color, similar to chests. You could either craft it or wax it like copper. My inspiration to this was some log huts which use waxed wooden logs that look kinda orange, but you can't really make them in current Minecraft.
