Charms can be a unique addition to Minecraft. They can give the player special perks that could greatly help them in many situations. It doesn't just help the player battling mobs, it can help the player mine, farm, build, etc.
How a charm works is that there will be 3 charm slots in the player's inventory. A player can put any charm in the three slots, and it can grant the player the perk it provides.
These charms can either be found in structures or be traded by different villages depending on the charm and villager(for example the charm of farming for the farmer).
A few examples of what a charm may give include:
-Charm of Parrying: Parry an incoming attack from any mob, stunning it. Can be combined with a sword or shield
-Charm of Poison: Gives the effect of poison to a mob. Can be used with the sword
-Charm of Farming: When your hoe converts the dirt into farmland, the farmland will grow the crops planted on it 50% faster. Used a hoe.
-Charm of Accuracy: When the arrow is shot from a bow, it will be more accurate and have a longer range. Can be used with a bow
-Charm of Soaring Heavens: The elytra can be flown much farther. Can be used with the elytra
These charms can also have ranks, bronze being the worst, silver being decent, and gold being the best. There can also be diamond-ranked charms that are dropped super rarely when a boss is killed.
