Allays Love Eating Flowers and Changing Colors!

I am in love with the Allay, but I feel like they aren't personal enough. I've seen other ideas talk about having different colors so I thought about how that could be possible. I thought dyes too but that seemed unnatural, even for a fictional creature. I felt like it would be adorable if they loved eating flowers. The way it would work is similar/ almost identical to pandas. You drop a flower near an Allay without a held item; It grabs the flower and eats it with a similar animation to a panda. You could take it a step further and have a twinkle sound and particle effect as they change color. I thought it was a cute idea.
