Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The ability to find pieces with letters or other symbols in archaeology.

It would be possible to find pieces with some symbols during excavations. These scraps would contain one or two symbols and could also be affixed to pots like the pictures presented on Minecon 2020. The presence of pieces with symbols would allow writing on pots, and also increased the freedom of creativity.

The symbols represented can even be widely known Minecraft hieroglyphs.
