Sisal Plant and Rope

I know rope isn't a new idea but I think I've found a way to implement it... SISAL PLANT - They would be found mainly in jungles biomes but would have small chance of generating in deserts biomes too. - It would be 2 blocks tall with the bottom block being the stem and the top block being the spiked leaves. - Walking into it with fully grown leaves would cause damage, the same as walking into a cactus (thorns). - It would have 3 growth stages. - Mined quickest with an axe, breaking the bottom block drops the plant, which can be replanted elsewhere, while breaking the top block drops 1 'sisal fibre' plus 1 per level of fortune (4 max). Both blocks should be breakable by a piston for possible redstone farms. - 3 sisal fibers placed vertically in a line on a crafting table gives 1 rope. ROPE - It would be shaped the same as a chain bock but look like rope. It would also be placed the same as a chain bock (horizontal or vertical). - If placed horizontally it acts as a barrier like iron bars or glass. If placed vertically it would act transparent (able to walk through) and be climbable. - Whie climbing up you would place the next rope block on top of the last to keep going upwards. To climb down you would look down to the bottom of the block, while holding crouch, and press 'use' to place the next under the block you are on. Rope could possibly allow rope fences and rope gates to be crafted to.

  I've been told that rope should be placed like any other climbable block rather than making a new mechanic, which is a valid point. I just wanted to give the option for something new as it would work both ways (although, if ropes are placed like chains it may be difficult to make them fo downwards).
