Rains Too Often And For Too Long

What do you want done?

Reduce the frequency of rain events.  When it does rain, reduce the duration of the rain event.

Why do you want something done?

Ever since 1.18 release it has started to rain too often and for too long.

Rain is a downer.  There are only so many times a player can organize their inventories for a full game day.  You can't just ignore the rain because a creeper is always waiting to ruin the build you're on and your day.

When I want something that I can't do anything about to ruin my day I'll just stay here in reality.  It happens all the time.  But when I venture into the world of minecraft I'd like to be able to get things done instead of sit around wondering if it's going to rain again all day long.

Rain is expected from time to time and a full day of rain every blue moon is a nice change.  But rain every two or three days and all day long is too much.

How do you want something done?

Reduce the frequency and duration of rain events or create a command or other utility that allows the player to turn the rain off.

I am in version 1.18.2 and I play solo survival on normal settings.

there's a cheat to turn it off but when I'm playing on survival with no cheats it gets seriously annoying, not only that but the rain sounds on my game are buggy and if i don't place anything or break anything for too long in game it gets extremely loud. there's also a common glitch where it'll start raining and it wont stop, no matter if i sleep and no matter how much time passes.
