Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Echo Shards additions

I know this is a new feature, but I already had some ideas for potential uses: 1.) One idea I like is if they had the ability to capture and relay sounds. For example, say you want to culture the sound of an allay. Simply walk up to it and right click on it and BAM, it has its sound captured. It would be niche, but cool Another more practical use would be a mute of some sort, potentially crafted with a jukebox and some of these echo shards. If you were to place a mute, it would silence all sounds within a certain radius

    I had a similar idea recently! Though it used goat horns to reproduce the echo shard's sound.

    Essentially it would be nice if they could store sound, and then have the goat horn be used to reproduce it. I wonder if that's why my post got removed? Not sure.

    Anyways, yeah. Them storing sound would seemingly fit with the fact that they're "echo" shards - and imagine how many things could be done if any minecraft sound effect could be stored by them!

    These are very cool but maybe we could add the same thing for normal goat horn.
