Sheep that grow leaves instead of wool

I think it would be cool if there was a rare sheep-like mob that could be sheared for leaf blocks instead of wool. There could be a variant for each tree type, and maybe feeding them saplings could change what type of leaves they grow. This could be an interesting way to farm for leaves, instead of growing and chopping down whole forests.

A few other things to make them interesting could be making them neutral towards the player (so they attack if hurt), taming/breeding them with rotten flesh, and maybe even making them hostile towards zombies/husks/drowned as a sort of symbolic battle between wholesome life and the undead.

    That is an interesting idea. Maybe they could spawn in a new magical forest variant (same as a flower forest, except these sheep spawn here and bee nests are much more common). Also, they need a good Minecraft name. But I do love this idea!
