Slimed Stones would come in the same varieties as mossy blocks, but be a bit, well, slimier. Aside from having slightly different textures the real point of slimed stones (crafted by surrounding a cobblestone or other appropriate stone) with slime in the crafting bench.
Why so expensive? Well, because slimed stones are fun. First, there is a small chance a slime can spawn on them. The chance of a slime spawning on a slimed stone is the same as the chance of a slime spawning on a particular block in a slime chunk (so you need a lot of them to do a lot). If you put them in slime chunks or swamps the odds from those spawn area stacks with the slimed block, so you could make very high efficiency farms in those areas, or regular efficiency, but expensive farms in other places.
Slime is weird. It can be sticky or slick. You carefully sneak across them without much problem, but if you walk at normal speed there is a random chance on each block you walk on (5%) that you will either slide or stick. If you stick you can't move off the block for 1/2 a second. If you slide you instantly move to the next block in your direction. Slimes are immune, but no one else is. Should be fun for minigames. There is a 5% chance (checked when you start picking, but randomly timed within the break time) when you try to use a pick on a slimed block that it bounces back and hits you, doing pick damage to you. There is also a 5% chance if you break it w/o silk it spawns a small slime.
