It seems that recently we have started the tradition to add new Advancements/Achievements themed after the recent updates (Update Aquatic, Village & Pillage, Buzzy Bees, Nether Update, Caves & Cliffs). Why not have new ones for the old updates? For example, we need to:
- Craft every block variation after one color dye [World of Color Update (1.12)].
- Defeat and loot every chest of a Woodland Mansion [Exploration Update (1.11)/Discovery Update (1.1)].
- Defeat a Stray and a Husk [Frostburn Update (1.10)].
- Repair a weapon completely using the mending enchantment [Combat Update (1.9)/Ender Update (1.0)].
- Defeat the three Elder Guardians from an Ocean Monument [Bountiful Update (1.8)/Boss Update (0.16)].
- Collect each type of flower [The Update that Changed the World (1.7)].
- Travel on horse a distance of 500 blocks [Horse Update (1.6)/Friendly Update (0.15)].
- Create a simple contraption using Redstone blocks [Redstone Update (1.5)/Overworld Update (0.14)].
- Craft a Pumpkin Pie [Pretty Scary Update (1.4)].
- Explore a Mineshaft [Adventure Update (Beta 1.8/1.0)]
I think some updates have enough achievements, but I feel like maybe some deserve more, especially for the amount of content they added and how big they were at the time when they were released imo. Also, why not re-add as advancements old achievements that were deleted (like "The Lie" and "When Pigs Fly") in the Java Edition? They were classics to a lot of people and I'm pretty sure they are still in the Bedrock Edition.
