When a player repairs and enchants their tools, the cost rises at an exponential rate. Before you know it, you need to spend over 100 of your hard earned levels to repair something (or make a new tool and hope you can find the same enchantments again).
Or you’re enchanting items and lo and behold, the enchantment you’re looking for (I’m looking at you Fortune 3!) lies just out of your reach because the enchantments change every time (and you’re sad and level 28 because you just spent your points when you decided to settle on a different enchantment... maybe it’s just me...)
This is why I suggest a brewable bottle o’ enchanting. Make the recipe difficult enough to brew so that the players can’t farm too many levels but it gives enough of a boost to reduce the hurt associated with the exp cost. (Or give you that little boost you need to get to a required enchanting level).
I’m open to any suggestions or comments for potential recipes. :)
Possible recipe:
water Bottles + nether wart + diamond = bottle o’ enchanting (can be modified with glow stone dust)
