Why is there no 120fps mode on Ps5?

Dear Minecraft Support Team, I would like to express my frustration regarding the lack of a 120 FPS mode in Minecraft on the PlayStation 5. It is honestly disappointing that in 2026, Minecraft still does not offer a 120 FPS option on a console as powerful as the PS5. The base PS5 is capable of running demanding upcoming games, including GTA 6, yet Minecraft, a comparatively less demanding game, remains limited to 60 FPS. Many PS5 players own 120 Hz monitors and televisions and would appreciate the ability to experience Minecraft with smoother gameplay. I understand that optimization and development take time, but I genuinely believe a 120 FPS performance mode should be a priority. Even an optional performance mode with reduced graphical settings would be greatly appreciated. Could you please clarify whether a 120 FPS mode for Minecraft on PS5 is being considered or planned?
