Description:
Ancient Cities are incredibly high-risk but lack long-term replayability once you find the loot chests. I propose adding a regional currency—Rubies—found exclusively as rare loot in the Deep Dark, which can be traded with a brand-new, creepy, but completely peaceful mob native to the Ancient Cities.

I propose adding a regional currency—Rubies—found exclusively as rare loot in the Deep Dark, which can be traded with a brand-new, creepy, but completely peaceful mob native to the Ancient Cities.
- The Merchant (The Sculk Collector): A creepy, silent humanoid mob overtaken by sculk. It is completely peaceful and ignored by the Warden. It doesn't attack the player, even if the Warden is summoned.
- The Currency (Rubies): Bringing back the unused Ruby texture as a dedicated Deep Dark currency. This avoids the old colorblindness issue with Redstone Ore because Rubies wouldn't generate as an Overworld ore; they are strictly Ancient City treasure.
- The Trades: The Collector trades high-value, specialized enchanted books for Rubies, including Swift Sneak, Feather Falling, Sweeping Edge, Looting, and high-risk items with Curse of Binding.
- The Gameplay Loop: Because trading or dropping items makes sound, players face intense, high-stakes moments. You have to navigate the menus and trade quietly and quickly before nearby Sculk Sensors trigger the Warden right next to your peaceful merchant oasis.
