I believe Mojang needs to reconsider its approach to server monetization. Not all players have the same interests, and it doesn't make sense to restrict an entire gameplay model simply because part of the community dislikes it. Some players genuinely enjoy P2W servers, where they can spend money to progress faster and compete for the top positions on leaderboards. If players understand the rules and willingly choose this experience, why shouldn't that option exist?
Mojang's role should be to ensure transparency and prevent deceptive practices, not dictate how every community should operate. Players who prefer a balanced experience should have that option, just as those who enjoy P2W servers should have theirs. Minecraft has always been a game defined by freedom and community creativity, and that freedom should also be reflected in server monetization. The goal isn't to make every server P2W, but to allow each community to choose its own model, with clear rules and players fully aware of what they're choosing.
