The text spacing change for CJK (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) languages implemented in version 26.60 is highly unreadable and has severely ruined the gameplay experience for native speakers.
Currently, excessive and unnatural gaps are automatically inserted between every single character. For native speakers, reading this new font style feels exactly like trying to read English sentences with all the spaces completely removed (e.g., "HellomynameisMinecraft").
Because of this unnecessary wide spacing, pre-existing text on signs, books, and marketplace descriptions is being cut off or wrapped awkwardly, destroying custom maps and UI layouts. Furthermore, complex kanji characters are heavily blurred and smeared due to the forced 8x12 pixel size.
While this update might technically look like a "fix" from an alphabetical perspective, it is a complete layout disaster for native speakers who read languages where characters are meant to be written closely together.
This is not an improvement; it is a major step backward. Please revert the CJK font system to its previous state.
