Right, on bedrock hard mode, why are my items being de-spawned in 10 minutes? There's really not a performance hit and the zombie that killed me was still alive with all my armour and shield equipped, surely he costs more performance than the items? Honestly it's a joke - you intentionally destroy player-dropped items on death to create more game time. I understand its a core decision for best challenging mode but honestly it's promoting the idea of just not adventuring in fear of items being lost. Make the executive decision of extending this time as it is still challenging to go down there and fight the mobs that initially killed you.
Have more creative game design around the user's likely experience and stop making the game java-orientated slop by shaving the user's experience for an extra millisecond of loading time. When it comes to bedrock (Popularly known as bugrock), it should be designed around long-term surviving fit for a both challenging but fulfilling experience, rather than the boring repetition of adventure, die and suffer insane consequences. Leave that for hardcore. Thank you.
