Description: There is a directional movement issue when attempting to step up from a lava source block onto an elevated water stream.
Setup / Scenario:
-
Place a 1-block lava source on the ground.
-
Place a solid block adjacent to the lava source, elevated by 1 block (1 block higher than the lava).
-
Place water on top of or flowing over this elevated block so that the end of the water stream flows toward the lava/player.
Observed Result: When the player is submerged in the lava source block and tries to walk up onto the elevated block with the water stream end:
-
Moving North (-Z) or West (-X): The player can successfully step up onto the block.
-
Moving South (+Z) or East (+X): The player gets stuck and cannot step up onto the elevated block at all.
Expected Result: The player's ability to step up onto the elevated water stream block should be consistent regardless of cardinal direction (North, South, East, or West).
Affected Versions: 26.3
