minecraft wood

Could we please add burnt types of the minecraft wood?

Say like when the wood is burning insted of it diserpeaing you could add different stages like this:

wood, slightly burnt wood, fully burnt wood, ash. and the ash is like the campfire smoke but like smaller like the enderman or nether particles and if you stand near to it you will get blindness II and poison I. please I hope you like my idea. Thank you for you time.
