Mo' Minecarts

Have you ever wanted a Dispenser in a Minecart? What about a moving Redstone Lamp, or a bouncy moving Slime Block Minecart? Well, now you can have all of those and much much more! We thought of whether to remove the Furnace Minecart, as it felt a little redundant after the addition of Powered Rails. However, we decided to go into the other direction, and allow you to make a Minecart with any block in the game! Simply craft a Minecart with any block as you would a Furnace Minecart, and experiment with all the unique possibilities with these useful moving components! Most combinations of blocks in Minecarts retain their original functionality, for instance, Piston Minecarts will still push blocks, and a few, like Furnace Minecarts, have new features that interact specially with the rails. There are hundreds of options! Having Minecarts moving about with all sorts of new custom components will allow you to build so many new contraptions, and add movement to your builds.

    This would be a totally different direction for rebooting minecarts, a largely outdated system in the game. Instead of polishing and redesigning them rigidly, they might just give players total freedom over it.
