Enderman griefing can ruin survival builds, especially when you are trying to transform the End with custom landscapes like grass lawns, moss gardens, or sandy beaches. Currently, the only vanilla ways to protect these blocks are ugly torch grids, flooding the area, or turning off mob griefing entirely—which disables achievements.
I propose a new survival-friendly solution: The Enderman Proofer.
How it works:
• The Workstation: Players craft a new workstation or use an upgrade function at the Stonecutter by combining it with an Ender Pearl.
• The Function: Putting blocks like Dirt, Grass, Sand, or Moss into the Enderman Proofer converts them into an "Enderman-Proofed" variant (such as Enderman-Proofed Dirt).
• The Gameplay: These blocks look exactly identical to their standard versions, but Endermen are physically coded to never pick them up.
Why this is good for the game:
• No Performance Lag: It doesn't require the game to track who placed a block, which avoids world lag and data bloating. It just adds a clean, simple block variant.
• Rewards Progression: It gives a great late-game utility to Ender Pearls and rewards players for gathering resources to protect their mega-builds.
• Protects Aesthetics: Builders can finally create beautiful, natural landscapes anywhere in the world without relying on ugly slabs or torches to stop griefing.
