Lava Fish

So I've been pondering and I had been thinking about a fishing rod that isn't burnable and I was thinking that you could fish up lava fish that give 7 seconds of fire resistance. But I'd want to have some sort of fishing rod material so I was thinking that it could be a new strider drop that would be called "Ember String" and it could be used to make Ember wool which isn't a burnable item and can be placed over lave. I know that The Nether is sort of get your loot and go but people have made bases and I want it to make challenges more possible and fun for everyone!
