As players reach the ultra-endgame with maxed Netherite, survival tension disappears. This suggestion adds a high-stakes, opt-in endgame boss designed for veterans, while completely protecting casual builders.
1. The Opt-In Ritual: The boss never spawns naturally. Players must intentionally build and light a specific "cursed" shrine (Gold/Netherrack) to trigger the event.
2. The 2,500-Block Stalking Phase: Exactly one "Glitched Player" entity (default skin, solid-white eyes) spawns within a 2,500-block radius. It plays mind games: stripping leaves, placing redstone torches, and watching from the fog before vanishing when looked at directly.
3. Code-Warping Combat: Standard brute force fails. The boss glitches, teleports, warps blocks, and creates mirage clones to disorient the player like a virus in the game.
4. Arrow of Decay Weak Point: The entity is immune to normal damage. The player must land a precise bow shot directly into its glowing white eye using an Arrow of Decay (Wither effect) to corrupt its code.
5. Petrification & Balanced Rewards: On a hit, the boss turns to solid stone mid-stance and shatters, dropping:
• Trophy: A placeable Stone Player Head with glowing white eyes that emits faint cave ambience.
• XP Drop: Exactly 3,200 XP (Level 0 to 46). This bridges the gap between the Wither (50 XP) and the first Ender Dragon (12,000 XP).
This brings the legendary "mystery of the unknown" back to late-game Minecraft without disrupting casual worlds.
