A block called the recorder and a blank disk item.
You craft the blank disk by putting four resin clumps on the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the crafting grid, and then you put a dye right in the dead center. The dye in the middle sets the color of the paper label in the center of the record. You can also place dyes in the four corners of the grid, which lets you customize the color of the actual disk itself!
Once you have your disk, you use the recorder block to make your music. When you power the recorder with redstone, it starts listening for any note block that plays within a massive 100-block radius because note block songs can get really long. When you give the recorder another redstone signal, it stops listening and finishes the track. If you want to check your work before locking it in, you can just crouch and right-click the recorder to preview and play back the song right there.
If you put your blank disk inside the recorder before you start, you can officially burn and engrave the song onto it so it creates the physical grooves. The recorder would have its own custom UI where you can replay your music and type in a name for your track. Because you’re naming it directly through the recorder UI, it officially names the disk in clean, straight text so you do not need to use an anvil which makes the name italic. Once it's engraved, the custom disk can be put into any regular jukebox for anyone on a server to listen to!
