Flower torches

In minecraft, there are a lot of flowers and they are good for decorating your base and maybe for dye, but except that, they aren't that useful. Torchflowers, has the word, ''torch'' in it, so it was suggested from Preston in one of his videos, that it would be cool if the torchflower also acts as a torch. The light that it brings out, could be darker than a torch, but at least it illuminates some blocks in front of players. This way, when you run out of sticks or has to keep your coal for smelting ores in a cave, you can take out the torchflower and use it instead. And it also makes a sniffer more useful, since torchflower seeds can only be found from the sniffer after its sniffing session. It was suggested by my sister, that it might make no sense, since it would be too hard to get a torchflower and instead make torches. Her suggestion made sense to me. Torchflowers can maybe glow at night, so when you put it as a decoration in your base, it looks magical. That is just an idea.
