I’d love to see a new, large biome added to the End, inspired by South Africa’s fynbos ecosystem. It would feature dramatic mountains, cliffs, unique alien flowers and unusual creatures while preserving the End’s mysterious atmosphere.
The biome could contain a village of End-corrupted villagers who trade rare resources for a new currency called Chorus Fruit Coins. Players would use a new crafting table to create the currency and other items, with chorus fruit becoming a rarer, more valuable resource.
Another structure would be a temple dedicated to the Ender Dragon, worshipped by these inhabitants as a symbol of peace. The temple could contain traps, including trapped chests disguised as Ender Chests.
Three additional structures could generate when the terrain allows: a crashed ship near an island’s edge, an extremely rare treasure vault, and an abandoned campsite or ruined base.
These structures would tell a connected story. The villagers could be descendants of travellers who came to the End searching for the Ancient Builders. Their ship crashed, they established camps, and their expeditions gathered treasures. The rare vaults could contain clues revealing whether they ever found the Ancient Builders.
The biome could also feature an unusual creature formed from the End and corrupted Ichor, connecting the biome to wider mysteries across Minecraft’s universe.
This would give players new reasons to explore, trade and investigate the End without losing its eerie identity.
