To Mojang
I have recently downloaded the NS2 closed beta for minecraft, and I can safely say thst it is both great and bad...
This is just my experiance with the NS2 beta, as other people may have different results.
PRO
In vanilla (No vibrant visuals) with a lower render distance (12-15), you can get a very high fps well over 90 and even 120 if you're lucky. I am very happy with this! Nice one there.
CON
When I turn the distance up, you get 50-35fps, which is quite sad, as I think the switch 2 is more than capable of getting 80-90 fps with a render of 28 chunks, as it is a powerful device.
PRO
With vibrant visuals turned on and on performance, you get 50-60fps, with 40(ish) being the lowest you'd get. Which is ok, I mean 50 is playable, but only JUST.
CON
Turning on visuals mode, I got 20-30fps, and some stutters of 18, when checking my heavily developed world, which is expected, as my world is somewhere around 150 megabytes. But when opening a new world, the performance was 22-35, which isn't any better... They very well can make some changes for the switch 2 that would make it at least 50, it's more than capable.
If you change some doodlackers, it could be 'performance = 120fps, and visuals = 60'. I think it's possible, and if it gets delayed by, like, a week or two just to fix this problem, I would certainly not mind it at ALL! Please, do fix this Mojang... Because 30fps being playable isn't really a thing anymore. Forgive me if i'm being harsh, but you get the idea. Love yas -
