Can I use Minecraft game system?

Hello.

I am a student who enjoys Minecraft.

We are elementary school students currently attending Hyeonpung Elementary School in Korea.

We hold information sessions for elementary and kindergarten students.

We explain games by creating games using AI.

However, since many of our students like Minecraft,

we would like to create a game that looks like Minecraft.

So, would it be possible to use this for the purpose of an information session, rather than for a profit-making business?

I will absolutely not use this for any profit-making purposes.

I think that as long as you don't use any licensed content (like the name "Minecraft" or the creeper face), you can still make and even sell a Minecraft-like sandbox game. Don't take my word for it though. You should have your teacher check Minecraft's copyright policies.
