Fletching Table Use

The Fletching Table has uses with villagers, but otherwise, it's useless. I think it should have a use, and as a fletcher deals with arrows and related stuff, so should the fletching table. My idea is that you can turn one stick, no flint or feather needed, into 4 arrows. Also, you can turn one stick and one string into a bow. Finally, you can put one stick and one string, or one bow, and combine it with an iron ingot to make a crossbow. This would make fletching tables much more useful and worth it. Oh, yeah, and you should be able to make tipped arrows using arrows and potion ingredients.
