Enchanted Item Enchantibility in Enchanting Table

Anvils are expensive. Very Expensive. And enchanting tools and stuff through them costs a lot of XP. And anvils break, so then you have to use another 31 iron ingots to make a new one. Over and over again. And to get the enchanted books reliably, you need a complicated, crazy-hard-to-make villager trading hall. So the solution is the enchanting table, right? Well, if you're trying to get god-tier gear with something like 5 or so enchants, it's not the solution, as you can only enchant an item through and enchanting table once. So if you want another one, you have to wipe the current enchants off. So why not remove the barrier that restricts enchanted items from being enchanted? It would make enchanting tables so much more worth it. It would make enchanting so much easier, as well. I really really really really think this should be added to the game. It would make all our lives so much easier.
