Suggestion: Furniture and Decoration System
Hello, Mojang team!
I believe Minecraft would benefit greatly from a furniture and decoration system. Building is one of the game's greatest strengths, but furnishing our creations often requires using existing blocks in improvised ways.
Adding furniture such as sofas, armchairs, more complex beds, wardrobes, cabinets, shelves, and tables would make houses and buildings feel more complete. New decorative elements, such as ceiling lights, wall lamps, chandeliers, and roof variations, would also allow players to create more detailed and beautiful structures.
I would also love to see new wood types with bolder and more diverse colors, offering more possibilities for matching furniture, floors, walls, and decorations.
An especially interesting idea would be a dedicated furniture workbench, similar to the Crafting Table. Players could customize furniture by choosing its materials, colors, and details, creating variations made from wood, iron, and other materials.
These additions would expand Minecraft's creative potential beyond construction, allowing players to furnish their buildings and give their interiors more personality. They could also benefit survival worlds, multiplayer servers, roleplay, and adventure maps.
Minecraft doesn't need to become realistic; even simple, blocky furniture that fits its iconic style would make a huge difference.
