Dear Minecraft Support Team,
I would like to suggest adding a simple but very useful feature to Minecraft on PlayStation: the ability to switch the left and right positions of players in split-screen mode.
Currently, when two players play together using split-screen, Player 1 is always on the left side and Player 2 is on the right side. It would be great if players could choose which side each player appears on.
For example, some players may prefer to have Player 1 on the right and Player 2 on the left. This could make playing together more comfortable, especially for siblings, friends, and families who have their own preferred sides of the screen.
My suggested solution is simple: please add an option in the video settings or split-screen settings that allows players to switch the positions of Player 1 and Player 2. Alternatively, this could be an option that appears before entering a split-screen world.
This feature would not change the gameplay or give either player an advantage. It would simply give players more control over their gaming experience. I believe it would be a small but meaningful quality-of-life improvement for many Minecraft players.
I understand that developing new features takes time, but I would really appreciate it if you could consider this suggestion for a future update.
Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve Minecraft!
Best regards,
A Minecraft player
