Smite Drops

Players will enchant weapons with Smite (or Bane of Arthropods!) in order to get unique trophies from respective mobs, most notably, mob heads! This way, while Sharpness deals raw damage, and Looting increases drop chances, specialty enchantments like Smite grant unique rewards. Fighters may prefer the extra damage of Sharpness, while treasure hunters take to the habit of carrying a Smite sword. The mob trophies may be put on display to show your triumph over the mobs, or crafted into special recipes, like banner patterns! Note: Mob heads are super common in modded Minecraft, especially as they are combined with note blocks to play unique sounds. The Smite enchantment is famously lacking in functionality, this would be a thematic way to bring extra features into the game.
