A New Use for Resin: Transferring Textures
Resin could have a new use: allowing players to copy a block's texture and apply it to another block while keeping the original block's colors and properties.
For example, in Minecraft, some doors have a nice texture but a color that doesn't match what a player wants. With resin, players could copy the texture of one door and apply it to another door whose color they prefer.
The result would keep the color and properties of the target door while adopting the details and patterns of the copied texture.
The same idea could work with other blocks. For example, players could copy the rough details and holes of cobblestone and apply them to wooden planks while keeping the wood's original colors.
The goal would be to separate a block's texture from its colors, allowing players to customize their builds without requiring Mojang to add new blocks for every possible combination.
This feature would offer more creative possibilities and give resin a useful new purpose in Minecraft.
