Building Palette

A "palette" works exactly like a paint palette, but with blocks and items instead of paint! Simply craft a palette and select it in your inventory to add up to 27 things to your palette! Once an item is put into the palette, it will you allow you to place that item directly from stacks in your inventory. Hold the palette in your hand and scroll through your options. The palette saves you from needing to go back and forth manually. Of course, you can prepare several different palettes, with the same items, or different, for instance you could have a "redstone" palette that allows you to cycle through redstone components, or a "stone" palette that allows you to cycle through all the variants of stone. Credit: I believe I saw Xisuma post a video years ago advocating this concept for inventory management. The "Palettes" I describe are similar to his solution, but perhaps a bit more customizable and personal for the player, to control categories, rather than set them automatically.
