Expand Prehistory and Bring Ancient Creatures Back to Life - Jurassic Sniffer
I would love to see Minecraft let players discover, revive, and raise ancient creatures.
Minecraft already has signs of prehistoric life, like the Sniffer and fossils under deserts and swamps. These could become part of a bigger prehistoric system.
Imagine finding the bones of a huge, never-before-seen creature underground. Players could investigate fossils, find ancient eggs, or discover ways to bring extinct creatures back. There could even be discoveries in the Nether or the new Carapace biome in the Sift.
Reviving creatures could involve exploring, digging, experimenting, and gathering supplies. Not everything needs to be a dinosaur. Minecraft could add ancient creatures from enormous herbivores to dangerous predators.
Players could raise, breed, and study them, discover their diets, and watch how species interact. This could let players create prehistoric ecosystems, dinosaur parks, or entire islands for their creatures. Different species could have unique habitats and social behaviors.
I want to feel like John Hammond, bringing prehistoric life back to Minecraft. I want to find something ancient, revive it, watch it grow, and create an ecosystem of creatures that would otherwise have stayed extinct.
Minecraft is about exploring, creating, and experimenting. This could bring all three together.
The character limit is awful, but I would love to discuss this further.
