I feel sadly disappointed with this game. I loved the first one and it seemed to have its own character and identity. Sure it’s similar to Diablo or other ARPG’s but it had focus and the DLC felt like actual additions to the game. I just completed the second game and I must say that if feels like I paid for half of a game. The map is empty and waiting for more money of mine to be completed and that is such a disappointment. I paid 30$ for 7 hour campaign and 35% of a world that needs 20$ and more time to complete? What is that? It’s greed. Sadly. I wish that this weren’t true because the game feels fun to play at times. Then there is the lack of replay value. Why miss out on the chance to add classes to the game to make it worth playing over again? Sure I can start a new game but I will end up with the same weapons and abilities as my first run. I think this game had potential with the open world and blacksmith upgrade but it feels like an empty shell of a game waiting for more content and money to be activated. Also, the enchantsmith is incredibly annoying. Getting a new piece of gear or weapon only to have to wait to travel back to a village to add an enchantment to it to make it useful is beyond annoying. It feels like this game was hardly tested. Or if it was then they hadn’t played the first game which had seamless enchanting where you got a new item and could instantly add echantments on it to make it playable. I hope this isn’t how things will be going from here out.
