Extend Gold Crafting Recipes

It would be nice to be able to make gold bars and gold chains for decorating, to bring it closer in line with iron and copper. It'd also be nice to be able to make a redstone lantern (from gold and a redstone torch) that could be hung on the underside of blocks - perhaps it could behave the same was as a redstone torch and power all blocks around it aside from the block it's attached to, as a way to send redstone signals down.
