It is frustrating to see how easy it is to switch to Creative Mode in a survival world. Mojang seems to overlook how much this damages the integrity of Survival Mode.
The problem isn't Creative Mode itself, but how easily players can bypass survival's challenges with just a few clicks. What is the point of spending hours mining, exploring, and building if everything can be obtained instantly by changing a setting? Survival should be about challenges, limitations, and earning your progress, not having an easy way to bypass them whenever you want.
This also affects Minecraft's community and content creators. When watching a YouTuber's survival series, how can we be sure their progress was earned legitimately? This doesn't mean every creator cheats, but the ease of switching modes creates unnecessary suspicion and undermines the credibility of honest players who put genuine effort into their worlds.
Mojang should introduce an optional Locked Survival setting when creating a world. This would permanently prevent switching to Creative Mode or using commands that compromise survival progress. Players who want unrestricted freedom could keep the current options, while those who value a legitimate survival experience could protect their worlds.
Minecraft is built on freedom, but the integrity of Survival Mode matters too. Please give players a real choice to protect their progress and preserve the meaning of their achievements.
